Google Store Chelsea

Google’s first-ever physical store introduces NYC shoppers to the future of experiential retail.
Following a series of successful pop-ups in cities around the world, Google opened its first-ever permanent retail store on the ground floor of its NYC headquarters in Chelsea. Deeplocal worked as a creative technology partner, creating hands-on interactive experiences to demonstrate the helpfulness of Google products.

Sandboxes throughout the space invite visitors to experience Google products in context.
The Nest Sandbox is a voice-enabled, simulated living room for guests to authentically experience and learn about Nest products.

“In many ways, the Google Store is a prime example of experiential commerce, meaning it’s not only a place for consumers to test and buy product, but also a destination to have entertaining experiences that help them develop a stronger attachment to the brand.” —Fast Company

Me

Born and Raised in Dubai. I now live in Brooklyn like every other creative technologist. I love making whatever weird little ideas that come to my head with a bunch of great people. I’ve worked on projects like giant gumball machines to musical soap dispensers to grass tote bags.
